City of Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights is a long-standing community proud of its heritage and optimistic about its future. Our Village was founded in 1836 when a Yankee stonecutter, Asa Dunton, was the first to stake claim here. Soon afterward, railroad tracks were laid through the town's center and businesses began developing.

Arlington Heights remains today the thriving residential and business community it was then. Arlington Heights derives its vibrant and comfortable personality from the energy and dreams of its citizenry and business community.
